A Bunch of Random Thoughts in my 64th Year

Just thinking about a couple things and jotted them down. Might add later

  7. Introverted women are hot
  8. Lifting and sun >> antidepressants
  9. Fear of old age solitude is often female old-age fear-projection, men can thrive in solitude
  10. Left brain is king, until right takes over eventually
  11. My first (relationship) rule: solo travel is non negotiable and it's not personal
  12. My second (relationship) rule: no dead bedrooms ever or I'm out
  13. Corollary to 2nd rule: chore-play demands are a form of self-pimping barter
  14. Mountain forest >> beach
  15. Parenting is the great masculine, and human, adventure of life
  16. If you want to write, read a lot
  17. Topophilia is a real thing for some people like me
  18. West of the 100th meridian and east of CA is a blessed land
  19. Road trips, esp 1-on-1 with daughters, is zen-utopia
  20. North, and up, is the proper direction
  21. The betrayal of a male friend is worse than that of a gf
  22. In business, the most confident men can be dumb af...and wrong
  23. A woman's heart needs at least 1sq mm of softness or don't bother
  24. First snow is always magic
  25. Burn all love letters after age 60
  26. First sip of a Rye Old fashioned is pretty good. Third drink is a waste.
  27. Don't trust an ambitious, absent wife

  30. Get as jacked as you can and don't squander your 20s in that respect
  31. Be kind to animals but don't make them the center of life before all else
  32. As a man, learn to cook. In the 21st C no one is going to cook for you
  33. Build wealth and then learn how to protect it over life. Latter is hard.
  34. I used to trust first and then let it be proved wrong. Reverse that
  35. Trust+honor+integrity is the "one ring" that rules them all
